Deck with Screened Porch

To moderate the huge amount of direct sunlight pouring onto their existing deck and to make it more comfortable and usable, our client desired a spacious Screened Porch with an adjacent deck for outdoor lounging and grilling.

To maintain a light airy feeling in their existing Family Room, we replaced large portions of the existing Family Room, we replaced large portions of the existing wall with glass and designed built-ins for an entertainment center to maximize the focal point of the room.

Deck Expansion-phased project

With a third child on the way, these clients wanted to expand their Family Room but didn't have the budget to do so quite yet.

Consequently, a phased project was initiated, starting with a well-built spacious deck with planters and benches for the children to play on until they grew bigger at which time it would be converted to a Screened Porch and then to a Family Room. All the foundations are in place for these future projects to minimize cost and utilize what is already in place.
